A supply of registration forms will be distributed to all Chapters in late April 2010. All participants, including DeMolays, Advisors, Sweethearts, and Visitors, must complete and submit a registration form. A medical release form must also be fully completed for each participating youth (person under 21 who is attending). The Convention Registration Form must be returned with fees by due June 15, 2010. Please remember to bring your notebook of Medical Release Forms with you to Convention.
Each Chapter must have one Advisor present for every five DeMolays. If your Chapter does not have Advisors attending and you are unable to make arrangements with another Chapter to provide for Advisory coverage, contact "Dad" Berry who will make the arrangements for you. Your Chapter will be expected to cover the registration cost for the provided Advisor.
When approving the registrations, Chapter Advisors should be careful to note the rooming assignments that have been requested. Every attempt will be made to room participants with whom they request.
Each Chapter, according to State Bylaws, is entitled to five delegates. There is a space provided to register your delegates on the Registration Form. Each Chapter is also entitled to five Alternates, who should be registered as such. Past Master Councilors who are under the age of 21 may also vote, but they must register and participate in at least one Convention package.
Also mailed to Chapters and included on this site are the Necrology Report, which can be submitted with your Chapter registration or it can be brought to Convention; the 2010 State Sweetheart Application, which should be carefully reviewed with your State Sweetheart Candidate, her parents, and her chaperone; and a Dress Code for the various events at Convention.
If you have any additional questions regarding Convention 2010, please contact the Executive Secretary.
