On Sunday December 27, 2009, Freedom Chapter had their annual Installation of Officers.  Brother Joe Jones was installed as Master Councilor, Brother Nick Spangler installed as Senior Councilor, and Brother Justin Berwanger as Junior Councilor. Also installed were many other brothers in appointed offices.

After the installation the Chapter had an awesome dinner of lasagna, chicken, potatoes, salad, rolls and cake. There were about sixty five in attendance. The Chapter was also happy to have members of Allentown Chapter and Bethel 55 of Job’s Daughters from Maryland and several Masons join them for the event.

Freedom decided to spice things up with for this installation by awarding some prizes to members for their contributions.  Categories for prizes included person traveling the furthest to the installation, newest DeMolay member, oldest Master Mason, and oldest Senior DeMolay.  It was interesting to find out new information about some of the people in attendance. 

Overall, it was a great day.  Thanks to everyone who helped get things organized and all the DeMolay who traveled to be installing officers.  Freedom is looking forward to a great term!
