PA DeMolay News - Pilgrim on Display on St. Paddy's Day
Author: "Dad" J. Michael Larkin

It was a warm spring day when members of Pilgrim and George Washington Chapters joined forces to march in Harrisburg's annual St Patrick's day parade.

Dressed in traditional green, some sporting long red beards, and all with shinny green derbies, the members danced down the main streets of Harrisburg. It was no surprise that their performance of the Irish Congo line in front of the judges did not result in any prizes.

The parade included the Governor, some bagpipes, numerous fire trucks, marching bands, many Irish wanabees, and finally our own the Dancing DeMolay.

The members of both chapters are looking forward to next year's parade, and are encouraging other Chapters, Assemblies, and Bethels to join in the fun.
