In observation of ‘'My Government Day'' Allentown Chapter visited the North Whitehall Township board of supervisors meeting on July 20 th . Members, parents and advisors learned and heard about issues that involve everything from zoning issues to property erosion. The first meeting topic was an issue that dealt with a hillside that was eroding on to private property. Then members heard the story of a local fire company wanting to rezone an area of land from residential to commercial in order to execute a land swap with another land owner. The proposed exchange would give the fire company more land to serve their community more efficiently.

The members of Allentown chapter attending ‘'My Government Day'' observance learned about the complexity of real estate transactions and about how our government works.

Allentown Chapter ended the evening with a delicious trip to a local ice cream parlor.
