On Saturday, July 31st, 2010, members and advisors of Joppa Chapter, located in Washington, PA, entered into the Washington bi-Centennial parade as part of the Masonic Family float. On hand for the event was Bro. Ben Crosier, "Dad" Eric Ullom (who also happens to be Worshipful Master of the local Lodge), and S.K. Fred Junko, a Past Commander of Jacques DeMolay Commandery, which sponsors Joppa Chapter. There were also several members of Rainbow present. This proved to be a great way for Joppa, and the Masonic fraternity, show the community that fraternity has been, and will continue to be, an important part of the local heritage. |
