On August 11, 2010, the Blew family had the pleasure of attending the Stated Meeting of Orange Chapter in California. The members of Orange Chapter warmly welcomed the visitors to the meeting and their relaxed attitude helped to kick off the fun. Their business meeting ran very quickly and smoothly with reports from Job’s Daughters and Rainbows. Southern California DeMolay has a slightly different organizational structure than PA DeMolay. They have state officers, and divisional or league officers. The league concept has brought the local chapters together and has helped to encourage inter-chapter activities. At the end of the meeting Carl Blew was presented an Orange Chapter t-shirt as a memento of the visit.

Carl asked the Orange Chapter members why they were all so laid back. They answered, “It’s because we have a beach.”
