| In 2010, DeMolays in Pennsylvania were challenged to Take Control! of their Chapters and their lives. The members overwhelmingly responded to this call and Pennsylvania DeMolay not only grew in members but in enthusiasm. Now the question remains - what will PA DeMolay do with this new found control?
For 2011 - 2012, the members have a new Mission: Control! DeMolays across the Commonwealth are now tasked with keeping this new found power in the hands of the young men and continuing to show that DeMolay is an organization for young men, led by young men! Are you willing to accept this mission?
If so, the first step is to sign up and become a member of the Alliance. By showing your support and joining your Brothers in this Mission, you enter into a program which will change PA DeMolay for years to come. Once you are a member of the Alliance, you are challenged to complete the following missions. |

Mission two is very simple - recruit one new member!
Incentive: Life Pack, Rank Star, No. 1 Pin - the PA DeMolay Life Pack is essential for all space crusaders and explorers of PA DeMolay. The Life Pack will give you a place to store all of your important mission documents, a place for your mp3 player, a slot for your life support water bottle, and a great surface on which to display your rank stars. |

A space crusader goes through years of training before he is allowed to take control of a space vehicle. While they won't take you years to complete, you should endeavor to finish all five lessons of the Leadership Correspondence Course. These will teach you everything you need to know about DeMolay and ensure that you know how to talk to your friends about joining the organization. If you've already completed the LCC's, you'll need to do them again to earn the star (a refresher never hurts!)

You've learned the
ropes and you are ready to climb into the cockpit and take off. However, it's hard to fly into space by yourself! For mission four you are going to need to recruit two more members, bringing your total to three. This should give you a great group of friends to blast off with and ready you for future missions.

By recruiting new members and learning all you can, you've become a leader amongst the space crusaders of the program. It seems you've caught the attention of your superiors! They want to know more about you and request that you complete the form to earn the Representative DeMolay
Award. By completing this self evaluation, you'll prove that you're really a leader in your Chapter.

To be a true leader, you need to have people who are willing to follow you. To complete this mission you are going to need to recruit two more new members, bringing your total to five. This should swell the ranks and give you a great support staff!
